This new weekly series is a casual look into my day-to-day DIY life at Blake Hill House.
Last week Andy and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a quick getaway to Lewiston, New York. Located just a little farther north, the fall colors were at their peak. We spent some time fishing on the Niagara River and walking around Artpark. (That part you cannot hear very well is me describing where I was supposed to be standing during a Vampire Weekend concert before the tickets were canceled.)
Also, after a long day of DIY over the weekend, we finally have some visible living room makeover progress to report.
Thank you for watching.
PS: Your feedback about the content and length of these videos is welcome. Andy thinks they too long, and he wishes they had magic and superheroes.

Thank you, Brenda. I enjoy making them. They help me realize that I am getting a lot done even though it does not always feel like it.

I love these videos! Regarding the length and content, remind Andy that you are a superhero who makes magic but it takes time?
Stacy
Haha! I’ll tell him. We’ll have to see what he says. 🙂

I LOVE Gene Davis and the Washington Color School. The mural in my living room is in part inspired by his stripes, and by his WCS colleague Alma Thomas. Davis did a similar project outside the Philadelphia Art Museum! Very Cool.
