Happy Holidays From Blake Hill House!

Holiday Baking

The kids have been baking up a storm during the last couple of weeks. I have enjoyed standing back to observe the cuteness through my lens.  These two have such a bond.

We have all been enjoying using the new kitchen. The design is just right for working together without bumping into each other. The center island has exceeded my expectations, and it is perfect for baking.

Lots of baking.

I am serious about all of the baking.

This year, M. has spearheaded most of the projects. Watching her plan and carry out her ideas has been such a treat.

This year is also the first year that her gingerbread house looked like, well…a house. Not a tear was shed in our kitchen this year, not even from me.

Looking Ahead

The blog is going on hiatus until the first week in January while we celebrate and enjoy the holidays with our family. Although our entire year has been full of work here at BHH, I have put together a linked gallery with all of our finished projects. Please feel free to take a trip down memory lane while we are gone, or become acquainted with us if you are new.

2016 has been quite a ride. I feel like we are entering an alternate dimension with all of the unknowns that 2017 and the next four years will bring. So much uncertainty. One constant is that Blake Hill House will still stand. We will still lovingly take care of it, and we will happily share it all with you. Have a wonderful holiday, and thank you for being part of our lives.

See you in two weeks!
