There is not much to report this week. Due to our schedules, we have had very little time to spend in the room doing the physical work that is required in order to boast about any sort of accomplishment. I spend an awful lot of time in that room in my head, but my hands are busy scrawling ideas and plans on Post-it notes and scrap paper while I sit in the car waiting for one of the kids to be done with an appointment or activity.
In an effort to not fall too far behind, I have been working in 10-minute increments, sewing the quilt top, painting drawers, cleaning hardware and popping into Lowes and craft stores to price the supplies required to pull this whole project together.
Although it feels like we are spinning our wheels on this project right now, I think that once we get some momentum, it will come together with avalanche-like speed.
Our plan for this weekend is to spend several solid hours in M’s bedroom repairing the walls and continuing prep work for painting. I would like to have the room painted by the first weekend in February. Once that is done, we can work on the details, wrap up this project and check it off the to-do list.

You go, finding time to just sew a quilt!!!
It will come together fast, already having done all the ‘stuff’ for it.
Can’t wait to see it!

Thank you, Carolyn! 🙂
