This month, it has been two years since we completed the gut remodel of the kitchen. We still love it. This was our first experience with a remodel of this size, and tackling the entire project on our own was way beyond our skill set. So, after considering a few options for contractors and kitchen design, we landed with Lowe’s Remodeling Services. Our experience was very positive overall. Lowe’s did all the heavy lifting, and Andy and I did the painting, backsplash tile, and we refinished the original hardwood floors.
Remodeling the kitchen was a huge expense, but we have not regretted it for even one second. It’s about time for a re-shoot for this lovely room. The decor has changed a little since the big reveal.
While we are typically against gutting anything in BHH, this project was an exception. It was necessary for form, function, and safety.
If you are interested in reading more about this project, I documented it in its entirety. We were not compensated by Lowe’s. However, sharing our experience may help you if you are considering a Lowe’s remodel of your own.
