Lately, I have been itching to offer a more casual look into my day-to-day DIY life at Blake Hill House. While I realize that not everyone is into watching videos, this format works really well for the on-the-go lifestyle that I have unintentionally created for myself.
Today’s episode begins with a confession. After over six years, I am having…feelings about living and working in Blake Hill House at the same time. Long-time readers know that these feelings are not new. However, the pandemic has offered plenty of time for self-reflection–perhaps too much time.
The rest of the week was filled with window glazing for days, tying up lots of loose ends, saying goodbye to the garden, and a One Room Challenge announcement too.
I hope this free-and-easy chronological format is relaxing and entertaining. If you enjoy the tutorial videos, don’t worry, I will still be uploading those to my channel too.
Thank you for watching.

First, not a DIYer/House Owner here, so this might not be helpful…
Except for the occasional necessity (approaching storm or delivery, ORC) stop projects at a consistent time every day–late afternoon or early evening. And then turn off related social media an hour later. Also pick a morning or afternoon each week for just Stacy time. But not any more than that; I would selfishly miss it way too much. ?

Thank you, SH. I appreciate the ideas. Selfishly, if I took more time off, I’d miss your comments too. 🙂
